ABOUT US & OUR COMPANY
Imperial Roofing is one of the oldest roofing contractors in Polk County, having being founded in Winter Haven, Florida in September of 1962 by John E. Harp. John had previously worked as a roofing foreman for Winter Haven Roofing Company for about 10 years when the company closed. At that time he bought the company out and Imperial Roofing was born.
In 1978, John decided to make his oldest son, Donnie Harp, a partner in the family business, where Donnie was already a valued employee. Donnie now resides as company president, after the passing of his father, in 1991. At that time, Donnie brought his younger brother, Kenny, in as his partner and vice president in. Kenny, too, already a valued employee and skilled roofer. Their mother, Demaris "Dee" Harp, is the secretary, treasurer, and office manager. Foreman, Luther Rushing, has been with Imperial Roofing Company since 1965, other than a brief leave to serve our country in the service.
Although our primary operating area is in Polk County, we do operate all over Florida. We are State Certified and an active member of the State Roofing Association, (FRSA) and Winter Haven Chamber Of Commerce. We are insured, bonded, licensed and in good standing with the Better Business Bureau. We own all our own equipment and maintain a highly skilled staff. We have a custom fabricating shop as well as a showroom. Our hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-4: 00 pm and are located at 5596 Commercial Blvd. off Recker Hwy. and State Rd. 541 in Winter Haven.
